You may use the Site if you can legally form a binding agreement where you live.
If you are under the age of majority in your province/territory, you may only use the Site with the consent of a parent/guardian.
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others or the Site. You agree not to:

- Pricing: Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice.
- Ordering Payment: Ordering may be handled through email/contact or third-party tools; additional terms may apply.
- Taxes shipping: You are responsible for any applicable taxes and shipping fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The Site may provide information about in-person events, league nights, mini-games, prizes, fees, and participation requirements (the "Activities").
Fees, schedules, rules, and formats may change. Posted information is for convenience; final details may be confirmed at the venue or through our official communications.
Events may be cancelled or rescheduled due to venue issues, safety concerns, weather, staffing, or other reasons. Refunds (if any) are handled per our posted policy or communicated case-by-case.
You agree to follow:
- venue rules and staff instructions
- league rules and fair-play expectations
- all applicable laws and safety requirements
We may remove participants (without refund, where permitted) for unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive conduct.
Cornhole and related Activities involve physical movement and inherent risks (e.g., slips, falls, collisions, strains, property damage).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks arising from participating in Activities, attending events, or being present at venues.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that [Badlands Cornhole / Legal Name], its volunteers, organizers, partners, and sponsors will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from:
- your use of the Site
- your participation in Activities
- venue conditions or actions of other participants
- lost/stolen personal property
- cancellations, schedule changes, or prize changes
Some jurisdictions limit liability waivers; in those cases, this section applies to the maximum extent allowed.
If we offer mini-games, raffles, draws, or prizes:
- rules, eligibility, and entry requirements may be posted at the venue or on the Site
- we may verify eligibility (including age/ID) before awarding prizes
- prizes may have no cash value unless stated
- odds of winning may vary
- decisions by organizers may be final, to the extent permitted by law
Note: If any Activity is subject to local licensing/permit requirements, we intend to operate in compliance with applicable rules.
Events may be photographed or recorded. By attending or participating, you grant us permission (and the permission of anyone you are responsible for) to use your likeness, name (first name only unless otherwise agreed), photos, and video for league/community promotion on the Site and social media without compensation, unless you notify us in writing before the event or request removal afterward where reasonably possible.
All content on the Site (text, photos, graphics, logos, designs, and site layout) is owned by us or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce, sell, or exploit Site content without written permission.
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., league platforms, sponsor sites). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Use them at your own risk.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or participation in Activities.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Badlands Cornhole / Legal Name] and its volunteers/organizers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Alberta, unless a law requires otherwise.
If any part of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
